Fun with Bubbles

Colleen phoned this evening, and asked if I would like to go with her up to Pilot's Monument to blow some bubbles. Colleen loves to blow bubbles, and I once suggested that we go together to Pilot's Monument and blow bubbles there. She agreed that it would be a great location, so off we went there tonight. Rebecca's new stuff...

It was Christmas in July for Rebecca, when she received a bunch of new equipment all within a few weeks. She got some AFO's (ankle-foot orthoses), a bath seat, a stander, and a new car seat! Here are some pics of her modeling her new stuff:

It's been SOOOO long!

It's been almost 2 months since I posted, so I guess it's about time for an update! I haven't been blogging lately, for one I wasn't sure if people actually still read this stuff, and for another I've spent more time on Facebook and had already put pictures on there from our trip to Calgary. And the more time that goes by, the more I feel overwhelmed with what to write, how do I condense the last 2 months into a blog post? First off, we went to Calgary/Edmonton and the end of June/beginning of July for 2 1/2 weeks. The main reason was to go down for Calvin's cousin's wedding on June 30th in Edmonton, and the rest of the time was spent visiting with his parents in Calgary. While out there, Calvin and I had a little "mini-vacation" with just the 2 of us, spending 2 days and 1 night in Radium & Fairmont. Here are some pictures of our road trip to Calgary:
